Yann Chave's Hermitage 2013 is a real masterpiece. Composed of a single grape variety, Syrah, it is at the top of the 2013 vintage.

The Hermitage Yann Chave 2013 has a superb deep, very dark colour, slightly pink on the edge of the glass and medium viscosity.
On the nose, it distills fruity scents of blackcurrant and black cherry, coated in roasted notes of dark chocolate, earth and moss.
Hermitage 2013 is a medium-bodied wine with well-balanced acidity and silky tannins.
It offers a beautiful aromatic structure, full of ripe black fruits, herbs and mineral touches. The Hermitage yann Chave 2013 ends with a moderately persistent finish but with a rare elegance.

Yann Chave's Hermitage 2013 is still at the beginning of his life. It is just ready for tasting but can still mature for many years in the cellar.
