The Domaine Saint-Préfert is a small property located in Châteauneuf du Pape, in the heart of the Rhone Valley. Bought by Isabel Ferrando in 2002, the estate now extends over an area of about twenty hectares of pebbles and gravel, favouring the deep rooting of the vines.

The vineyard benefits from a planting dominated by Grenache Noir and completed by Clairette, Roussanne, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. Since 2013, the Domaine Saint-Préfert is fully certified Organic Agriculture.

The Châteauneuf du Pape Domaine Saint-Préfert Réserve Auguste Favier is considered to be one of the most beautiful vintages of the estate. The 2018 vintage confirms this reputation.
In the glass, the Reserve Auguste Favier 2018 is adorned with a magnificent garnet robe and distils a beautiful bouquet of red fruits wrapped in ethereal notes of rose petals and violets, and delicately enhanced by subtle spicy touches.
On the palate, the Châteauneuf du Pape Domaine Saint-Préfert Réserve Auguste Favier 2018 offers a straight and full-bodied attack with a soft and silky texture. The aromas present on the nose are perfectly transcribed on the palate, supported by an incredible tannic structure, stretching to reveal a long finish that is as delicious as it is confusing.
