The Cuvée Carte d'Or is a purely Chardonnay (Blanc de Blancs) Grands Crus blend from Maison Claude Cazals. This Cuvée Carte d'Or, with its pale gold-green colour, releases a limpid champagne with help of great Chardonnay.

This Champagne Carte d'Or, a unique blend of Grands Crus from the 2016 harvest (80%) and reserve wines (20%), is made from 40-year-old vines and matured for four years in the vaulted cellar at Mesnil-sur-Oger.

The combination of Grands Crus in the pale-tinted Cuvée Carte d'Or has a golden colour with bright green highlights.
The Carte d'Or reveals a clean and lively nose with floral, candied orange and pineapple notes, followed by more rounded, slightly vanilla and peppery notes.
Carte d'Or bursts on the palate with an acidity due to its fruity, slightly lemony aromas, accentuating the sensation of purity.

The Carte d'Or vintage of the Claude Cazals Champagne House represents the estate with elegance, it is the "spearhead" of the house's range. Freshness and elegance are the hallmarks of this 100% Chardonnay Brut Champagne.
