The Mesnillesime 2014 cuvee from the Champagne house Guy Charlemagne is a Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut champagne that wonderfully reflects the terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger, located on the « Côte des Blancs ». The Mesnillesime 2014 cuvee is made from the best juices from the first cuvees.

This Extra Brut champagne is vinified in oak barrels without malolactic fermentation. In order to keep all the minerality and purity of the 100% chardonnay from 40 year old vines and aged 6 years in chalky cellars.

The Mesnillesime 2014 vintage reveals a pale gold colour with green highlights.
On the first nose this Blanc de Blancs displays floral notes, brioche, vanilla, candied citrus aromas and a second nose of iodized, peppery notes.
On the palate this Mesnillesime 2014 cuvée combines finesse and complexity with a touch of honey with a spicy, vanilla finish.
