The 2014 vintage of Château Grand Puy Lacoste, dressed in a beautiful deep dark ruby colour with purple reflections, exudes a concentrated bouquet of ripe red and black fruit aromas enhanced by a subtle peppery touch.
Blueberries are dominant, accompanied by cherries, wild strawberries and cedar, but quickly develop into notes of cream of blackcurrant, as is often the case with Château Grand Puy Lacoste wines.
On the palate, Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2014 shows a frank and precise attack, brought by powerful yet elegant tannins. The black and red fruits are always very present and bring a certain freshness to this straightforward vintage, with its top-of-the-range structure.
Château Grand Puy Lacoste also has a very long finish, always soaked in red fruit but with a slight hint of persistent cocoa.

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2014 offers all the richness and complexity of its terroir thanks to a subtle blend of freshness and refinement of fruit and the power of its intense tannins. A very great wine that can only be better with a few years in the cellar.
