Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2013 is a Fifth Growth of the Pauillac appellation. It is composed of a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Merlot and has a beautiful dark ruby red color.

In the glass, Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2013 distills a light bouquet of black berries and liquorice coated in subtle notes of dark chocolate and balsamic touches. After a few minutes of aeration, earthy and mineral notes emerge from the glass.
Medium-bodied, Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2013 offers a strong acidity line and a firm, powerful tannic structure. The fruit aromas are well defined and grow in the mouth, until the finish is long and tasty but less concentrated than one might expect.

Still in its prime youth, Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2013 will benefit from a few more years in bottle. However, it can already be enjoyed as an accompaniment to a dish of lamb, veal or even fine game such as deer or quail.
