"Taittinger's NV Brut Prelude Grands Cru was created in 2000 and blends 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir exclusively from Grand Cru villages, but it is not produced every year.
The current release is based on 2009: very clear, precise and elegant on the complex and nicely matured nose, which reveals the purity and freshness of a Côte des Blancs Grand Cru.
Fresh, dry and grippy on the palate, with sweet cherry flavors and a nice maturity, this is a lovely, straight and mineral Prelude.
It is very pleasant to drink today, but will gain further complexity over the years."
