Produced in the heart of the Pauillac AOC, on a vineyard of 81 hectares with vines that are on average 40 years old, the Château Pontet Canet 2000, Cinquième Cru Classé, is a true little prodigy!

It was in 1994 that Pontet Canet's transformation began, which started his rise among the best wines of Pauillac thanks to Alfred Tesseron's hard work. The 2000 vintage is outstanding.

The Château Pontet Canet 2000 has an intense and deep purple colour, almost opaque.
It exudes a powerful, spicy and spicy bouquet that devolves in successive layers: first, black fruit blended with licorice, then roasted and subtle hints of vanilla.
On the palate, Château Pontet Canet 2000 offers a frank and tasty attack, rapidly evolving towards more persistence in the mouth. It is a full-bodied wine with dense tannins and a rich aromatic range.
The 2000 vintage of Château Pontet Canet is very similar to the Premier Cru Classés of the same vintage and stands proudly on the podium of the Cinquième Crus Classés!
