The Dragon de Quintus 2016 is a blend of the two typical grape varieties of the AOC Saint Emilion: Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).

On the first nose, the Dragon de Quintus's 2016 vintage still seems fairly closed. After a few minutes of aeration, it finally reveals itself, distilling sweet fruity aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry, as well as floral notes, more spring.
On the palate, the Dragon de Quintus 2016 is moderately full-bodied with round, finely worked tannins. Complex, the Dragon de Quintus 2016 offers aromas of black fruits, spiced with blackberry and spicy notes of white pepper and cloves.
It is a well-balanced wine, offering a velvety texture that covers the ju' aqu' palate with a pleasant and slightly grainy finish.
