Located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc appellation since the 17th century, Château Sociando-Mallet is part of the history of the Gironde. The property has a vineyard of 83 hectares of vines planted on one of the most beautiful gravelly soils in the appellation, benefiting both from optimum sunshine and a regular supply of water thanks to its proximity to the river.

Château Sociando-Mallet 2018 has a beautiful dark purple colour with brilliant reflections.
On the nose, it reveals a complex bouquet dominated by layers of ripe black fruits, cooked and candied, accompanied by the scents of undergrowth and cut herbs. A delicate mineral touch is also felt.
On the palate, Chateau Sociando-Mallet 2018 is characterized by its full-bodied and powerful attack. The aromas of ripe black fruit are revealed in successive layers, revealing a great freshness, and evolve by letting vegetable and warm spicy notes emerge on the finish.

The wines of Château Sociado-Mallet are made for long ageing. This 2018 vintage will benefit from being kept for a few decades before tasting.
