Château Haut Brion is a patient wine. This Premier Cru Classé does not let itself be discovered before a long period of ageing. It's still worth the wait, as the result is infinitely higher than expected!

Château Haut Brion 2000 is a blend of 45% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
It has an intense garnet colour with warm reflections.
On the nose, Château Haut Brion 2000 gives off a high level bouquet, touching almost to perfection. It is an explosion of black fruits that emanates from glass: blackberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries, plums, blueberries, but also roasted scents of burned herbs and earth as well as a mineral touch of graphite.
On the palate, Château Haut Brion 2000 is still as sumptuous, deep and full-bodied as ever. It is an extremely complex and perfectly structured wine, with an admirable length on the palate and an infinitely fine finish.

Chateau Haut Brion 2000 is a wine of long ageing that will only improve over the next decades. It will wait for 2040 without any problem!
