The history of Château Bouscaut dates back to the 17th century but it was not until 1979, and its acquisition by the Lurton family (owner of the famous Château d'Yquem), that Château Bouscaut became the true pearl of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.

The Château Bouscaut vineyard is made up of clay and gravel soils resting on a limestone base, and extends over an area of 47 hectares (40 hectares dedicated to red wines).

Château Bouscaut 2018 red is dressed in a superb dark purple colour with ruby tints and distills a bouquet of candied black berries as well as tertiary notes of forest soil and oak.
In the mouth, Château Bouscaut 2018 is generous, rich and moderately full-bodied. The black fruit aromas line the palate, supported by a supple and velvety tannic structure, and offer a delicious and spirited finish.
