Historical estate of the Pessac-Léognan appellation since the 17th century, Château Bouscaut became a property of the Lurton family in 1979. Since then, this influential family (owner of Château d'Yquem) has undertaken major works to modernise the estate. The vat room and cellar have been renovated, and the vineyard has been enlarged thanks to the purchase of adjacent land (former vineyard of the Lamothe-Boucaut estate).
Today, the Château Bouscaut vineyard covers 47 hectares, 7 hectares of which are reserved for white wine production.
In the glass Château Bouscaut 2018 white shows a beautiful light yellow colour with golden reflections.
From the first nose, it reveals an explosive bouquet, loaded with notes of juicy white fruits wrapped in ripe and fresh citrus fruit aromas.
On the palate, Château Bouscaut 2018 offers a generous and concentrated palate. The aromas of white peach blend with grapefruit and lemon zest in a velvety blend leading to a fresh and long finish.
