Château Sigalas Rabaud is probably the oldest of the Sauternes estates, but also the smallest of the Premier Grands Crus Classés of the appellation.

Château Sigalas Rabaud has a magnificent 14-hectare vineyard in one piece, made up of a siliceous soil rich in stones on a clay subsoil. The vines cultivated by the estate (Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle) are harvested grain by grain, at full maturity, during harvests that can last a full month.
Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel vats before maturing in new oak barrels for 18 to 24 months depending on the vintage.

In the glass, Château Sigalas Rabaud 2018 shows a superb pale yellow colour with golden hues and a complex and enchanting bouquet of ripe tropical fruit and fresh citrus fruit intertwined with gourmet and mineral notes.
On the palate, Château Sigalas Rabaud 2018 offers a sumptuous and elegant attack. In the middle palate, tons of exotic fruits take place in successive layers, grapefruit, mango, lemon, and mandarin, in perfect balance, evolving towards a delicate and mineral finish.
