Champagne Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie is a blend of Chardonnay (45%) and Pinot Noir (55%) exclusively from the "Folies" vineyard, itself part of the historic Taittinger residence, Château de la Marquetterie.

The grape varieties selected to make up the Champagne Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie are harvested "in green" in order to reach perfect maturity and an ideal sugar dosage. After a vinification in parcels, part of which is in oak barrels, the "Folies de la Marquetterie" cuvée is aged in bottle for 5 years.

In the glass, Champagne Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie is adorned with a magnificent yellow colour with golden reflections crossed by a string of fine and abundant bubbles.
On the nose, the "Folies de la Marquetterie" distill an intensely fruity bouquet (peach and apricot) as well as subtle notes of brioche and gourmet vanilla.
On the palate, Champagne Taittinger Folies de la Marquetterie offers a full and sweet mouth full of aromas of yellow peach mixed with elegant mineral notes. The mid-palate is deep and reveals a flawless structure with well-balanced acidity and a long, chalky finish.
