Chateau Haut Bergey is reputed to be one of the best quality/price ratio of Pessac Léognan and this 2010 vintage does not deviate from the rule.

Château Haut Bergey 2010 is made up of a blend of two typical Pessac Léognan grape varieties: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot.

The Haut Bergey 2010 presents a superb dark ruby colour with warm reflections.
On the nose, it distils a very nice aromatic complexity with a rich bouquet of red and black fruits, such as cherries or ripe blackcurrant and smoke notes.
On the palate, the freshness of the nose dissipates to give way to a round and warm wine. The tannins are fine and worked with care.
The finish is precise and persists for long seconds in the mouth.

A few years ago, Château Haut Bergey was just one of many wines. Since its purchase by the Garcin Cathiard family, Haut Bergey has become one of the best Pessac Léognan wines, as well as one of the most regular!

Chateau Haut Bergey 2010 will delight your senses with dishes of white meat (poultry, veal), roasted red meat, or strong cheeses in taste.
