The Champagne Guy Charlemagne Mesnillésime 2008 is a 40-year old parcel of land located on the terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger (Côte des Blancs), a jewel revealing all the typicity and authenticity of this small village. A rigorous vinification, partially in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, a minimum dosage of 3g/l, and 6 to 7 years of ageing in the cellar, this is the recipe, according to Guy Charlemagne, for creating an exceptional cuvée, which alone embodies all the know-how and excellence of the House.

Dressed in a pale yellow/green colour, the 2008 Mesnillésime cuvée offers a persistent effervescence of fine bubbles.
At the same time powerful and of a rare elegance, the nose transpires the honey of acacia mixed with notes of candied lemon, smoked and peppered.
In the mouth, the 2008 Champagne Guy Charlemagne Mesnillésime reveals itself, unctuous and complex, with a fleeting woody note, followed closely by an avalanche of candied citrus fruits and ends with an incredible length, fresh and vanilla finish.
