Sitting on a vineyard covering only 6 hectares in the heart of Pomerol, Clos l'Eglise is one of the most famous wines in the appellation, along with Château la Conseillante and Vieux Château Certan.
The vineyard, made up of clayey-gravelly soils and iron drosses, benefits from a traditional grape variety of Merlot and Cabernet Franc of 35 years of average age. Cultivation and harvesting follow the principles of sustainable agriculture.

Clos l'Eglise 2018 is composed of a blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%).
In the glass it shows a beautiful dark purple colour with ruby tints and distills a full and lively bouquet of ripe and candied fruits and black berries as well as notes of spices and sandalwood.
On the palate, Clos l'Eglise 2018 offers a rich and velvety palate, full of aromas of ripe and juicy fruit that unfold in successive layers, until warm and spicy notes emerge on a long and persistent finish.
