Troisième Cru Classé of the Margaux appellation, Château Boyd-Cantenac benefits from a vineyard covering an area of 17 hectares of draining siliceous gravel that allows the vines(mainly Cabernet Sauvignon) to take deep root.

Château Boyd-Cantenac has now been owned by the Boyd family for four generations and is rightly recognised as one of the most characteristic wines of the Margaux appellation.

Château Boyd-Cantenac 2018 has a beautiful deep purple colour with subtle garnet tints and a nose of small cooked red and black berries mixed with vegetal and mineral scents.
On the palate, Château Boyd-Cantenac offers a frank attack and a robust body. The fine and silky tannins coat and sublimate the aromas of dried fruits and herbs, letting them open and evolve towards warmer and spicier notes on the finish.
