Renowned for its wines of great classicism, Château Boyd Cantenac was created in 1754 by Jacques Boyd. Situated in the heart of the Margaux appellation, this Third Growth sits on a beautiful 18-hectare vineyard of Quaternary siliceous gravel. The vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Lucien Guillemet, the current owner of Château Boyd Cantenac, manages the estate according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, banning the use of chemical fertilizers for over 40 years.

The 2019 vintage of Château Boyd Cantenac is a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon (68%), supplemented by Merlot (21%), Petit Verdot (8%) and Cabernet Franc (3%) hand-picked before maturing in new oak barrels.

In the glass, Château Boyd Cantenac 2019 exhibits a beautiful deep, dense purple color.
It distils a bouquet marked by Cabernet, as fine as it is intense and complex. Dense, gourmet red and black fruit fragrances jump out of the glass, wrapped in elegant woody notes.
On the palate, Château Boyd Cantenac 2019 offers a medium to full-bodied attack before revealing a very fine mid-palate, unfolding in successive layers supported by a supple and silky tannic structure before ending on a remarkably long, tannic and refined finish.
