Grand Cru Classé
Quintus is the new name of Château Tertre Daugay.
Chateau Quintus 2014 is made up of 69% Merlot and 31% Cabernet Franc, which were harvested mainly from Tertre Daugay terroir.
Like his little brother the Dragon of Quintus, he is dressed in a dense and purplish robe. On the nose, Château Quintus 2014 offers red fruits notes dominated by freshly picked raspberries, enhanced by peppery and spicy notes.
On the palate, the 2014 vintage of Château Quintus shows its sweet roundness. It explodes in a subtle blend of black fruits such as plum and cherries, highlighted by a slight freshness like mint. Its tannins are perfectly worked, fine ripe and tasty.
