Produced from a 100% Merlot blend, the 1964 vintage of Pomerol's most famous wine is a masterpiece!

Dressed in a beautiful deep dark ruby colour, slightly rusty at the edges, Petrus 1964 offers a huge bouquet of candied fruit, burnt herbs, coffee, caramel and mocha, wrapped in smoky, roasted notes.

In the mouth, Petrus 1964 shows impressive fullness and power. It's a massive wine.
The tannins are rich and perfectly balanced with the beautifully extracted red and black berries that quickly line the mouth, growing to the finish, particularly long and persistent.
