Château Mauvesin-Barton is a Bordeaux property located in the heart of the Moulis en Médoc appellation. Its vineyard extends over an area of about sixty hectares on a clayey-gravelly soil. The vineyard benefits from a planting dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, completed by Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

In order to respect the environment and the living, the vineyard of Mauvesin-Barton is cultivated using sustainable agriculture (with 12% of its surface cultivated organically). The work in the vineyard, as well as the harvest, is entirely manual.

Chateau Mauvesin-Barton 2016 is a blend of Merlot (47%), Cabernet Franc (18%) and Petit Verdot (7%).
In the glass, it shows a beautiful dark purple color with ruby reflections and distils a delicate nose loaded with the scent of ripe red berries mixed with charming notes of cedar.
On the palate, Château Mauvesin-Barton 2016 offers an elegant and moderately full-bodied attack followed by an incredible mid-palate, with a perfect balance between the acidity and sweetness of the fruit. The fruity aromas develop and coat the palate, highlighted by a delicate and silky tannic line, before finishing on a finish that is as subtle as it is delicious.
