Château Malartic-Lagravière 2017 is a white wine from the Pessac Léognan appellation. It is composed of a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (80%) and Semillon (20%) harvested by hand on dry, clayey gravelly soils. In the glass, Château Malartic-Lagravière 2017 shows a magnificent pale yellow colour. It has a fresh, aromatic and elegant bouquet and a discreet but noticeable intensity. The aromas of ripe yellow and white fruits blend with mineral notes. Lemon, green apple, white peach or pineapple, the scents mix and wrap around a mineral base and a fine touch of flowers. On the palate, Château Malartic-Lagravière 2017 offers an elegant, balanced and fruity palate. Structured and fine, it has a nice fatness, developing a subtle and deep mouth full of smoothness. The freshness of the white and yellow fruits is accompanied by aromas of citrus fruits that emerge gently, adding a touch of acidity to the mixture. The different layers of fruit are intertwined and combined, ripe lemon, sour green apple, white peach, pineapple, mandarin, zest, forming a complex whole, before revealing more subtle touches of almond or toasted vanilla. The finish is delicious and finely balanced.
