Although more famous for its red wines, Château Malartic-Lagravière also produces one of the most famous white wines of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. More confidential, Château Malartic-Lagravière white has only 7 hectares dedicated to its production (compared to 46 hectares for red wine).

Château Malartic-Lagravière 2018 is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (90%) and Sémillon (10%) aged in oak barrels (55% of which are new).
It is dressed in a beautiful light yellow colour with sparkling reflections and seems somewhat shy on the first nose.
After a few shakes of the glass, Château Malartic-Lagravière 2018 blossoms, revealing scents of ripe white and yellow fruits, apples, pears and peaches, coated with gourmet notes of fresh buttered bread and a subtle mineral touch.
On the palate, Château Malartic-Lagravière 2018 shows a moderate attack. The fruit aromas present on the nose quickly line the palate in successive layers, deploying a well-balanced freshness and hinting at a spicy aromatic range that grows in the background until it fully develops on the finish.
