Château La Lagune is a wine from the AOC Haut Médoc classified as a Third Growth in the 1855 classification. It is produced from Merlot, this Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

Château La Lagune 1990 is dressed in a magnificent ruby colour, intense and dense, with no lightening on the edges.
It distils an elegant and sweet bouquet of ripe and soft black fruits, blackcurrant, grilled nuts and cocoa, accompanied by notes of dried herbs.
On the palate, Château La Lagune 1990 is fleshy and moderately full-bodied, with a velvety tannic structure. In the middle of the mouth, its blackcurrant aromas evolve towards red cherry, leather and tobacco notes are revealed, coated in a silky texture, until the finish, greasy and luxuriant.

Château La Lagune 1990 is one of the best Haut Médoc wines of the vintage. At that price, it's almost a gift!
