Château Haut Brion is a Premier Grand Cru Classé from the Pessac Léognan appellation.
The 2016 vintage of Château Haut Brion is produced from a blend of Merlot (56%), Cabernet Sauvignon (37.5%) and Cabernet Franc (6.5%).

The Haut Brion 2016 is dressed in a beautiful red/green colour with purple/purple tints.
It shows itself to be very intense on the nose, releasing powerful complex and expressive aromas of red and black fruits interwoven with floral violet fragrances.
On the palate, Château Haut Brion 2016 reveals a perfectly balanced palate and a striking tannic structure. From the start, the mouth is juicy and dense, the finesse of the tannins gives the wine a silky, almost creamy texture. The layers of black fruit spread out over the palate, gradually revealing mineral notes.
The notes of violets, already present in the nose, are then revealed, wrapping the ripe black fruits, until an elegant, balanced, long and persistent finish.

It is undoubtedly one of the best bottles of Château Haut Brion in recent years!
