The 2002 vintage of Haut Bailly represents the renewal of the Château. The renovation of the estate was completed this year. This transformation promises to be a success when you taste the estate's latest wine: Château Haut Bailly 2002.

Chateau Haut Bailly 2002 is a wine composed of a blend of sorting grape varieties, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon (62%), completed with 35% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc.

It shows a dark red colour with purple highlights.
On the nose, Château Haut Bailly 2002 offers a bouquet of black fruits such as blackcurrant or black cherry, interspersed with smoky smoke and toast flavours.
On the palate, Château Haut Bailly 2002 is very complete and balanced. The black fruits are perfectly delineated and enhanced by finely worked tannins.

From its youth, it already showed a great aromatic power and a fleshy side. After a few years, Château Haut Bailly 2002 gained what it needed in structure and is getting closer to perfection.
