Château Cos Labory is a Cinquième Cru Classé produced in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, more precisely on the hill of Cos (from which part of its name is derived).
Its vineyard covers 18 hectares of gravelly soil on a marly limestone base and benefits from a grape variety dominated by 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, plus 5% Cabernet Franc. The creation of Château Cos Labory wines combines the best of the traditional method with modern practices such as low temperature vinification, which allows for superior extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is matured in oak barrels.

Château Cos Labory 2017 is dressed in a splendid dark purple colour with ruby tints.
On the nose, it gives off an ample and complex scent of small cooked and sweet black berries accompanied by notes of violet and a hint of wood.
On the palate, Château Cos Labory 2017 is moderately full-bodied and shows a supple and velvety texture. The aromas of ripe black fruit line up on the palate, releasing an incredible freshness enhanced by a silky and chewy tannic line. The elegant and delicious finish offers an extraordinary length.
