Crus Bourgeois located south of the Margaux AOC, Château d'Arsac has one of the largest vineyards in the appellation. This vineyard covers an area of 110 hectares of sandy-gravelly and clayey soils, 54 hectares of which are cultivated solely for the production of this first wine.
The grapes used to make Château d'Arsac are the two main grape varieties of the appellation, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (the vines have an average age of 20 years).

Château d'Arsac's production follows traditional methods, with manual harvesting followed by vinification in thermo-regulated vats and 12 months maturing in barrels.

In the glass, Château d'Arsac 2018 has a superb deep purple colour with ruby tints and a complex and charming bouquet of small black berries and juicy plums. After some agitation, tertiary notes of blond tobacco and dried lavender emerge in turn.
On the palate, Château d'Arsac 2018 offers a medium-bodied attack. The mid-palate reveals a soft and velvety tannic structure intertwined with aromas of ripe and juicy black fruit accompanied by a vegetal touch that grows as the finish is near.
