Located in Saint-Estèphe, on the "pebble hill", the Cos d'Estournel vineyard extends over a hundred hectares divided into a myriad of small parcels with diverse and varied terroirs.
From deep gravel to clayey gravel and clay-limestone soils, the Cos d'Estournel estate has a remarkable terroir with many facets. It is this incredible geographical configuration that allows the Cos d'Estournel to produce outstanding wines, with an inimitable style, expressing all the richness of the Saint-Estèphe appellation!

Composed of a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (74%) and completed by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (respectively 23%, 2% and 1%), Château Cos d'Estournel 2018 has a superb deep purple colour with garnet highlights.
Shy on the first nose, Château Cos d'Estournel 2018 opens gently after a few seconds of aeration, revealing a complex bouquet full of ripe and juicy red and black fruits accompanied by tertiary notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, light tobacco and spring flowers.
On the palate, Château Cos d'Estournel 2018 offers a flawless structure and exceptional freshness. Its straight and powerful tannic line supports tons of crisp red and black fruit, revealing itself in successive layers, evolving in the mouth until it reveals a delicious and subtly mineral finish.
