Located in the heart of the Montagne-Saint-Emilion appellation, and facing the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Emilion, extend the 30 hectares of vineyard of Château Clos de Boüard. The vineyard benefits from a clay-limestone soil and a grape variety of old vines of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Château Clos de Boüard 2018 is the product of a blend dominated by Merlot (85%) plus a little Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).

In the glass, Château Clos de Boüard 2018 has a beautiful deep purple colour with ruby tints and a bouquet of small juicy black berries surrounded by cocoa notes as well as earthy and vegetal touches.
On the palate, Château Clos de Boüard 2018 offers a powerful and straightforward attack. The mid-palate is full of ripe and fresh black fruits coated in notes of various spices highlighted by a silky and finely worked tannic line. Finally, the freshness of the fruit gradually gives way to vegetal notes to finish with an elegant and remarkably long finish.
