Made from a blend of three grape varieties (42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36.5% Merlot and 21.5% Cabernet Franc) La Chapelle de La Mission Haut Brion is aged in 23% new oak barrels.

This second wine from the Château La Mission Haut Brion has a deep and intense red colour in its 2016 vintage.
La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion 2016 offers a ripe bouquet of black fruits (cherries) and floral notes. These aromas, timid at first, quickly gain in intensity after aeration, releasing all their freshness and aromatic complexity.
Moderately full-bodied on the palate, La Chapelle de la Mission 2016 reveals crisp and precise tannins. The attack is juicy and concentrated. The finish is both fruity and airy.
