La Grande Dame 2012 by the Champagne house Veuve Clicquot and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama have composed a creation to celebrate this new vintage in homage to the iconic "Grande Dame of Champagne". Yayoi Kusama was inspired by the iconic brand, the peas and the flower, for the new case and bottle of La Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot 2012.

This blended champagne is composed primarily of grapes from historic Grands Crus vineyards. Pinot Noir excels at 90% of the blend along with 10% Chardonnay, with grapes from Ambonnay, Aÿ, Bouzy, Verzenay and Verzy.

Dressed in an effervescent white robe with silky reflections and adorned with fine bubbles.
On the nose, La Grande Dame 2012 reveals fruity notes of pear, plum, mirabelle plum and quince. Then, on the second nose, a perfume of white flowers (jasmine, honeysuckle, vine flower) for a finale on aromas of fresh almonds and frangipane.
On the palate, the Grande Dame 2012 offers a mouthful of bitter orange zest, dried apricots, roasted hazelnuts with a honeyed finish and cane sugar.

The 2012 Grande Dame is a rich and tasty wine. This new vintage has a powerful minerality, driven by the Pinot Noir and the freshness of the blend.

This champagne will go very well with white meats, fresh vegetables and with dessert.
