Ruinart is one of those Champagne Houses that are considered as wine legends.
The Ruinart House was founded in 1729 and since then has never stopped going up without ever going down to the point of being unrivalled today.
1990 was an exceptional year for Ruinart House, which took advantage of it to produce one of its best vintages.
This cuvée has a splendid golden and very luminous colour, with sparkling reflections and a fine string of continuous bubbles.
On the nose, the Dom Ruinart 1990 cuvée exhibits a very fruity bouquet of yellow plum and honey, typical of Ruinart champagnes. These tempting aromas are superimposed on floral notes and a touch of minerality.
On the palate, it is an explosion of flavours that quickly invades the palate with ripe fruit and crispy bubbles, all in finesse. In the middle of the mouth, the fruit fades away and notes of honey and toasted brioche take their place until an incredibly sweet and persistent finish!
Champagne Dom Ruinart 1990 is a perfect accompaniment to oyster-based starters or a fruit-based dessert. It will also be ideal as an aperitif.
Aperitif - Rich fish (salmon, tuna, etc.) - Various cheeses - White meat - Appetizers
