Champagne Pol Roger Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1999 is made from a blend of about 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, aged on lees and with a dosage of approximately 7g/l.

This Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1999 has a beautiful yellow/pale gold colour with lively effervescence forming a fine and delicate moss coat.
Still young on the nose, Champagne Pol Roger Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1999 delivers a bouquet of citrus fruits, biscuits and honey accompanied by a touch of dried fruits like hazelnuts.
On the palate, Champagne Pol Roger Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1999 offers a creamy foamy texture with an abundance of charming and elegant aromas dominated by citrus fruit, followed by more complex notes of apples, apricots, honey, brioche and biscuit, and a touch of licorice.
Very mineral in the mouth it offers a rare and refined purity, marked by limestone and stone notes.

Balanced, rich, long and intense, Champagne Pol Roger Extra Cuvée de Réserve 1999 is ready to be enjoyed now, but it will gain even more depth and complexity as it matures in the cellar. It is not expected to begin its decline for another 15 years.
