Château Lynch Bages is produced on the Pauillac appellation. Cinquième Cru Classé since 1855, the estate is now one of the legends of Bordeaux, as its wines are so much appreciated in France and throughout the world.
The vineyard of Château Lynch Bages takes place on a terroir of gravel hills typical of the AOC.

Château Lynch Bages 2016 is a blend of the 4 traditional grape varieties of the estate, with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), accompanied by Merlot (19%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Petit Verdot (2%). The juice obtained after harvest is matured in barrels, 75% of which are new.

The 2016 vintage of Lynch Bages has an intense ruby colour.
On the nose, it presents a particularly concentrated bouquet, requiring a few minutes of aeration so that all the aromas dissociate and distinguish themselves, revealing floral and fruity scents of blackcurrants and cherries, as well as a mineral hint of limestone. It is a bouquet of incredible freshness and energy.
On the palate, Château Lynch Bages 2016 is concentrated and tannic. The tannins are powerful but perfectly balanced with all layers of black fruit. The mid-palate is silky, the tannins wrap the fruit in a smooth and elegant texture.
