Located in the heart of the AOC Pauillac, Château Pontet Canet owns a vineyard of about 80 hectares. The Château's policy with regard to the cultivation of vines is the least interventionist possible in order to respect nature as much as possible.
The second wine of the Château Pontet Canet, Les Hauts de Pontet Canet 2004 is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a minority of Petit Verdot.
He is dressed in a beautiful deep dark burgundy robe.
On the nose, the Hauts de Pontet Canet emanates a complex bouquet composed of powerful fruity aromas, between red and black fruits, perfectly delineated and wrapped in slightly toasted woody notes, in addition to a hint of vanilla.
On the palate, the 2004 Hauts de Pontet Canet offers a full and ample attack. It is a powerful wine with a very elegant tannic structure, but preserving the energetic freshness of the fruit through its black cherry and blackberry aromas.
The Hauts de Pontet Canet 2004 is an elegant and fresh wine, with a sweet and fragrant finish. It is a wine full of pleasure and enthusiasm!
