The Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal 1988 is dressed with a magnificent deep golden yellow colour with warm reflections.
On the nose, Cristal 1988 reveals an incredible tertiary bouquet of caramel and licorice that has taken over the fragrances of white and yellow fruits.
On the palate, the 1988 Cristal Roederer shows extraordinary richness and a silky soft texture. It offers greedy and slightly fruity aromas of butter and caramel, baked apple and mushroom notes that cover the palate, offering a sweet and elegant finish, tens of seconds long.
The few bubbles that have not disappeared yet give it a delicious spice on the tongue, reminiscent of its freshness of yesteryear.
