Produced from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, Champagne De Venoge Cordon Bleu 2002 presents a superb golden colour with hints of amber, crossed by a fine string of delicate bubbles.
In the glass, De Venoge Cordon Bleu 2002 exudes an elegant bouquet of tropical fruits, dried apricot, pineapple, ripe peach and roasted walnuts along with a hint of honey.
On the palate, Champagne De Venoge Cordon Bleu 2002 offers a rich and delicate structure, abundant in perennial bubbles and refreshing foam. Round and smooth, it reveals fresh and fruity aromas in perfect balance with notes of toasted bread and honeyed viennoiseries, ending on a fresh and relatively long finish with toasted notes.
After a few minutes of aeration, the De Venoge Cordon Bleu 2002 becomes even more complex, revealing candied aromas as well as woody and refined notes.
