Château Soutard stands proudly in Saint-Emilion, on a 13th century vineyard. This vineyard of about thirty hectares is composed of mainly clay-limestone soils but also of some clayey slopes and sandy coasts.

The property has always been respectful of traditions, practising a rational culture, with particular care for the soil, the vines and the animal diversity of the vineyard.
After manual harvesting in a crate followed by sorting in the cellar, the juice obtained is aged in oak barrels for 18 months (on average).

Château Soutard 2018 is produced from a blend dominated by Merlot (61%) and complemented by Cabernet Franc (31%), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Malbec (1%).
In the glass, it shows a magnificent dark purple colour enhanced by ruby reflections. On the nose, Château Soutard 2018 distills fruity and gourmet aromas of cooked and jammed black fruits, blackberry tart and earthy and floral touches.
On the palate, Château Soutard 2018 offers a rich and elegant palate. Moderately full-bodied on the attack, it reveals subtly intertwined aromas of black fruit, supported by a granular and velvety tannic line, to finally reveal a delightfully fresh and long finish of several seconds.
