The 1982 vintage is known to be an exceptional one in Bordeaux. And of course, under these conditions, Pétrus has produced one of the best wines of the vintage, if not the best!

Petrus 1982 has a magnificent dark and intense dark garnet colour, slightly amber on the edges.
On the nose, it offers a bouquet of sublime, subtly delimited aromas: candied cherry, peach kernel, black olive, cedar and a touch of smoky coating.
In the mouth, the fruit mixes in a smooth, thick and full-bodied nectar. There is still a very slight acidity that tends to disappear with its maturity.

In this 1982 vintage, Petrus once again produced a monument of Pomerol wine and deserves its reputation as the best wine in the world!
