Château Pavie 2014 is a First Growth of Saint Emilion made from a blend of three grape varieties (60% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon) and aged in 80% new oak barrels (and 20% one-year old barrels).

In the glass, Château Pavie 2014 unveils an opulent and perfectly delineated bouquet full of red and black fruit scents mixed with notes of pencil lead and mushrooms. After a few minutes of aeration, mineral notes emerge from the glass, adding a touch of complexity and elegance.
On the palate, Château Pavie 2014 is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with fine, silky tannins. The freshness of ripe red and black fruit is enhanced by a mineral touch that reveals itself as the finish approaches.

Château Pavie 2014 is produced for long ageing. It is still too young to show its full potential. It is a wine that will need a few years in bottle before it is ripe enough to fully enjoy. The most patient will be greatly rewarded!
