Château Montrose 2013 is a Second Growth of the Saint Estèphe appellation composed of 91% Cabernet Franc and 9% Merlot.

In the glass, Château Montrose 2013 has a dark ruby colour and exposes a subtle bouquet, both fruity and floral, distilling scents of black berries like blackberries and dried petals that grow with agitation.
On the palate, Chateau Montrose 2013 offers a medium-bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and fresh, discreet acidity. It is a slightly complex and linear palate that finds its charm in the discreet touches that it reveals little by little with floral notes that emerge between ripe fruits as well as a mineral and fresh touch that appears on the finish.

Château Montrose 2013 is a great success for the vintage. It can be enjoyed now but it will still mature for a few years.
