Château Margaux 2014 is a First Growth from the Margaux appellation. It is produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (90%), Merlot (5%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petit Verdot (2%).

In the glass, Château Margaux 2014 has a beautiful intense ruby colour and a very floral bouquet, full of aromas of dried violets and fruity notes of cherries and blackcurrants that grow and amplify with aeration.
Once on the palate, Château Margaux 2014 is medium-bodied with a fine tannic structure. The fruit aromas of the nose are perfectly transcribed. The red and black fruits unfold on the palate, coated with spicy and mineral notes that gain in intensity until fully opening on a finish of incredible persistence.

Château Margaux 2014 is intended for prolonged ageing. It will take a few more long years in bottle to reveal its full potential. The amateurs who will have the patience to keep it for about ten years in the cellar should not regret it!
