Château La Fleur was bought in 2002 by Laurent Dassault (Château Dassault) who saw a double opportunity: to expand his estate and to give a new impulse to La Fleur by raising it to the level of the best vintages in the Saint-Emilion appellation.

The 6.5 hectare vineyard of Château La Fleur is located on a clayey hillside north of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard is mainly planted with Merlot but also Cabernet Franc.
The vineyard is exploited in a rational way with a parcel method in order to restore all the richness and complexity of its terroir. It is with this in mind that the estate seeks the perfect maturity of each grape.
He has equipped himself with the latest tools allowing him to work the vines very quickly and allowing him to take all the risks to harvest only at optimal maturity.

Château la Fleur 2018 has a very beautiful deep purple colour with ruby tints.
On the nose, cooked red and black fruits escape from the glass, accompanied by tertiary notes of earth and toasted herbs.
On the palate, Château La Fleur 2018 offers an ample, rich and velvety palate. The fruit aromas on the nose are intertwined with vegetal and earthy notes, leading to a complex and delicious finish.
