Château de la Dauphine is a domain of the Fronsac appellation on the right bank of the Gironde. Its vineyard extends over 40 hectares of clay-limestone soils where Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) vines of 33 years of average age are planted.

Since 2015 Château de la Dauphine has been Certified Organic Agriculture.

Château La Dauphine 2018 has a beautiful deep purple colour with hints of garnet red.
On the nose, it reveals a complex and elegant bouquet full of candied black fruits and warm spices. When the glass is shaken, tertiary touches of light tobacco and dry forest soil appear in turn.
On the palate, the Château de la Dauphine 2018 is rich and powerful. Solidly structured by fine and nicely crafted tannins, it offers aromas of red and black jammy fruits coated in layers of warm spices and then ends with a beautifully fresh finish.
