Rich, complex, and elegant, Château Franc Mayne is a wine renowned for its great gustatory qualities as well as its exceptional regularity.

Situated in the north-west of the Saint-Emilion appellation, the vineyard of Château Franc Mayne extends over 7 hectares of clay-limestone and clay-gravel soils straddling a plateau and at the foot of the hillside. 90% of the vines are Merlot, supplemented by 10% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is around 30 years.

Traditionally and by respect for the environment and biodiversity, the estate works its vineyard following the principles of sustainable agriculture, by regular ploughing and manual harvesting.

Château Franc Mayne 2015 has a magnificent intense ruby colour and distils a bouquet full of small red and black berries, blackberries and abundant raspberries, wrapped in woody notes of cedar.
On the palate, Château Franc Mayne 2015 offers a lively and fresh attack. The aromas of ripe and juicy fruits cover the palate supported by a beautiful tannic structure, fine and caressing, to finish on a racy and remarkably long finish.

Château Franc Mayne 2015 is now starting to reach its peak of maturity. A wine for laying down, it is ready for tasting but will keep in the cellar at least until 2040!
