Château Croque Michotte is a small family estate set on a vineyard of only 13.67ha west of Saint Emilion, on soils of gravel, sand and deep clay.

The vineyard is planted with three grape varieties typical of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru with 74% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Respectful of the environment and attached to the authenticity of the wines, the estate is one of the first (if not the first) to adopt Organic Farming.
The harvest is manual with an optical sorting in order to select only the best grapes to be used in the composition of the wines. The wine is then vinified in vats and fermented in oak barrels before maturing for 12 to 14 months.

Château Croque Michotte 2017 was only produced in very small quantities.

It is built on a blend dominated by Merlot and has a beautiful deep garnet colour with ruby reflections.
On the nose, the Croque Michotte 2017 opens with a bouquet that is both complex and charming: a core of ripe red and black fruits coated with scents of prunes, spices, and oak.
On the palate, Château Croque Michotte 2017 offers a full-bodied attack followed by a mid-palate bursting with rich, juicy fruit and a perfectly integrated oak frame.
