The vineyard of Château Clément Pichon extends over about 25 hectares of the left bank, on sandy and calcareous soils of the AOC Haut Médoc.

Composed of a blend of 62% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, Château Clément Pichon 2000 presents a deep dark garnet robe.
On the nose, Clément Pichon 2000 emanates a rich and vibrant bouquet of ripe black cherries, woody undergrowth and a light hint of toast.
On the palate, Château Clément Pichon 2000 is silky at first but fairly closed, with recessed fruit and a slight acidity. After a few hours of aeration, the acidity disappeared, leaving room for ripe fruits: blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, walnut and vanilla are awakened and make up a well-balanced whole, supported by medium tannins and a spicy and peppery finish.
